When Laxmi Shrestha joined her husband Shyam Shrestha in Portugal in 2018, it was the start of a new chapter for them both. Shyam, then working as a consultant in a Lisbon‑based firm, had successfully brought her over through the family reunification process — a milestone that reflected both his determination and their shared dream of building a life together.
In her early days in Portugal, Laxmi explored work in different sectors, gaining valuable experience and insight into the challenges faced by immigrants. Over time, her path led her back to Shyam’s side — this time as a partner in his own venture, Golden Cloud Consultancy.
Today, Laxmi is more than just a co‑owner; she’s a trusted consultant in her own right, guiding members of the Nepali community through the often‑complex process of documentation, legal paperwork, and administrative requirements.
